„Wild Herzegovina“ is officially the first tourist agency for birdwatchers who wish to visit Bosnia and Herzegovina. The owner of the agency, Denis Bohm, was born in Mostar and has lived in London for over 20 years. He became interested in birds when he was a student, and published a paper on birds of Blagaj in 1990.
The first „Wild Herzegovina“ birdwatchers were Jenny and David Wright from the United Kingdom, who have visited Bosnia and Herzegovina during the last days of April. Despite the rain, the Wrights have enjoyed observing the diversity of the bird fauna, and witnessed the rare finding of Cattle Egret (Bubulcus ibis) in Bosnia and Herzegovina, which they had the opportunity to observe in Hutovo blato on 28th April.
